Andrea andreapinkham.jpg (21608 bytes) Mikana-Pinkham is the Director of the Sacred Journeys division of Body Mind Spirit Journeys. She is a Lady Knight Templar and the North American Grand Prioress of The International Order of Gnostic Templars, a modern-day spiritual Templar Order dedicated to the revival of the Goddess Tradition and Gnostic Wisdom.

Andrea is an avid practitioner of the Goddess Tradition, a trained shamanic practitioner, Reiki Grand Master of the Ichi Sekai (One World) Reiki System of Natural Healing, and a spiritual counselor. She has been a conscious channel since 1987, bringing through the energy of the Kumaras. With her husband, Mark Amaru Pinkham, she teaches and facilitates classes, seminars and healing retreats in The Seven Rays of Healing School.

During a visit to Glastonbury Tor several years ago, she received the message from Spirit that part of her service to the upliftment of consciousness is to bring pilgrims to holy Avalon, which she has avidly been doing every since!

With her husband, Mark Amaru Pinkham, she teaches and facilitates classes, seminars and healing retreats in The Seven Rays of Healing School.

During the Sacred Journey in England Andrea will lead sacred ceremonies and meditations at those places where the Grail is reputed to exist, such as Glastonbury, to help connect with its Divine Essence, as well as the powerfully transformative energies that cover the land of Britain.

Life Experience: Andrea has also worked in the holistic healing & personal growth field for many years. In 1988 she began her journey with Reiki, a hands-on natural healing system. In 1991 she became a Reiki Master Teacher in this healing modality and founded a system that synthesized older and newer systems. Since then she has taught in the U. S. and South America. She has also been a Spiritual Counselor since 1987, working with individuals and groups to assist people in their re-empowerment of Spirit and to further open to Unconditional Love and planetary peace.

For several years, Andrea and her husband Mark directed a Wellness Center and managed a metaphysical bookstore, where Andrea offered her practice and teaching of Reiki, as well as spiritual counseling. She also organized weekly introductory lectures for the community, as well as workshops and lectures by local and national personal growth and metaphysical teachers.

Founding of Body Mind Spirit Journeys: In 1993 Andrea and her husband Mark Amaru Pinkham, traveled to Peru in order to gather information for Mark’s first book, The Return of the Serpents of Wisdom. The following year they founded Soluna Tours Sacred Journeys in order to guide groups of spiritual seekers to Peru to experience its transformational energies and ancient mysteries. The tour company soon expanded and they began to also lead tours to sacred sites in other countries. In late 1999 Soluna Tours was acquired by RMC Travel and the name changed to Body Mind Spirit Journeys.

Both Andrea and Mark continue to lead Sacred Journeys tours for BMSJ. Andrea is the Tour Hostess and Featured Speaker on Sacred Journeys to Egypt, England & Scotland, France, Peru, Da Vinci Code Journeys for Women, and Sedona AZ.

The International Order of Gnostic Templars: Andrea Mikana-Pinkham and her husband Mark Amaru Pinkham are the founders of the Order. They are the Co-Directors of the North American branch of the Order.

Speaking Engagements: Andrea has been a presenter at The Whole Life Expo, and has appeared on various radio and television programs to share information about sacred journeys.

Andrea is a member of two Andean esoteric societies, the Brotherhood of the Solar Disc and the Brotherhood/Sisterhood of the Sun. Since 1993 she has studied with various Peruvian/Andean shaman and healers. She also studied for many years in the indigenous Ojibway medicine tradition with medicine woman Keewaydinoquay from Garden Island, Lake Michigan. She is a member of the Fellowship of Isis. And she is a student of Mata Amritanandamayi, the Divine Mother from India.

Andrea earned a B.A. in 1977 from the University of Michigan.
