Mark Amaru Pinkham is a popular spiritual teacher, researcher, and author of four ground-breaking books detailing the history, practices and current revival of the Goddess Tradition: The Return of the Serpents of Wisdom, Conversations with the Goddess, The Truth Behind the Christ Myth, and Guardians of the Holy Grail: The Knights Templar, John the Baptist and the Water of Life. 

Mark is the Founder and Director of The International Order of Gnostic Templars an its associated school, The Seven Rays of Healing School. In conjunction with Body Mind Spirit Journeys, Mark leads tours to England, India & Sri Lanka, Tibet/Nepal and Sedona. He is a trained Andean Shamanic Practitioner, as well as a Yoga & Meditation instructor, Acupuncturist, & Western and Vedic (Hindu) Astrologer.

Andrea Mikana-Pinkham is the National Director of Body Mind Spirit Journeys. Andrea leads tours to Egypt, England, France, Greece, Ireland, Peru and  Sedona. She has received extensive shamanic training from various shamen in Peru and North America, and is adept at leading rituals to connect with the Earth, as well as one’s inner Spirit. Andrea has been a Reiki practitioner since 1988 and the Reiki Grand Master of the Ichi Sekai (One World) System of Reiki since 1991, as well as a Spiritual Counselor. Andrea co-teaches classes in The Seven Rays of Healing School.

Mark and Andrea are the North American Commanders of The International Order of Gnostic Templars, a division of the Scottish Knight Templars dedicated to the revival of Gnostic Wisdom
and the teachings of the Goddess Tradition from the Templar tradition.

Mark Amaru Pinkham - Life Experience:
Mark has been gathering the wisdom contained within his books since 1976 when, at 21, he traveled across Europe and Asia to India. He resided for seven years within the ashrams of the yoga and meditation master Swami Muktananda. During that time Mark intensively studied the Hindu scriptures, as well as the wisdom compiled by the Theosophists of India regarding the secret history of Earth. Since 1996, Mark has been a devotee of the famous Indian saint Mata Amritanandamayi and has resided in her ashram in south India on numerous occasions. 

Since 1990 Mark has been involved in intensive research regarding the secret mysteries of the Earth’s history. During this time Mark has been initiated into two Andean esoteric societies, apprenticed to a master shaman in Peru, and helped lead an expedition in search of a secret monastery in the Andes. While leading tours in Peru, Egypt, England, Tibet/Nepal, India & Sedona and the Southwest, Mark is continuously gathering new information about the esoteric origins and the lineages of spiritual teachers that have guided humanity’s spiritual destiny.

Andrea Mikana-Pinkham - Life Experience:
Andrea has also worked in the holistic healing & personal growth field for many years. In 1988 she began her journey with Reiki, a hands-on natural healing system. In 1991 she became a Reiki Master Teacher in this healing modality and founded a system that synthesized older and newer systems. Since then she has taught in the U. S. and South America. She has also been a Spiritual Counselor since 1987, working with individuals and groups to assist people in their re-empowerment of Spirit and to further open to Unconditional Love and planetary peace.

For several years, Andrea and her husband Mark directed a Wellness Center and managed a metaphysical bookstore, where Andrea offered her practice and teaching of Reiki, as well as spiritual counseling. She also organized weekly introductory lectures for the community, as well as workshops and lectures by local and national personal growth and metaphysical teachers.

Andrea has been a presenter at The Whole Life Expo, and has appeared on various radio and television programs to share information about sacred journeys.

Andrea is a member of two Andean esoteric societies, the Brotherhood of the Solar Disc and the Brotherhood/Sisterhood of the Sun. Since 1993 she has studied with various Peruvian/Andean shaman and healers. She also studied for many years in the indigenous Ojibway medicine tradition with medicine woman Keewaydinoquay from Garden Island, Lake Michigan. She is a member of the Fellowship of Isis. And she is a student of Mata Amritanandamayi, the Divine Mother from India.

Andrea earned a B.A. in 1977 from the University of Michigan.

Founding of Body Mind Spirit Journeys: In 1993 Mark and his wife, Andrea Mikana-Pinkham, traveled to Peru in order to gather information for Mark’s first book, The Return of the Serpents of Wisdom. The following year they founded Soluna Tours Sacred Journeys in order to guide groups of spiritual seekers to Peru to experience its transformational energies and ancient mysteries. The tour company soon expanded and they began to also lead tours to sacred sites in other countries. In late 1999 Soluna Tours was acquired by RMC Travel and the name changed to Body Mind Spirit Journeys.

Both Mark and Andrea continue to lead Sacred Journeys tours for BMSJ. Mark is the Tour Host and Featured Speaker on sacred journeys to Egypt, England & Scotland, France, India, Peru, Da Vinci Code Journeys, and Sedona AZ. During these special spiritual pilgrimages he shares information from his years of research into esoteric history, and offers initiation into The International Order of Gnostic Templars.

The International Order of Gnostic Templars: Mark Amaru Pinkham and his wife Andrea Mikana-Pinkham are the founders of the Order. Mark is the Co-Director of the North American branch of the Order and received the accolade of North American Grand Prior of the IOGT from Ian Sinclair, Grand Prior of the Scottish Knight Templars, at the Prince Henry St. Clair Preceptory at Noss Head, Scotland, in July 2005. 

Astrology with Mark Amaru Pinkham: Mark is a professional Astrologer with over twenty years of experience. He offers practical and spiritually in-depth readings in both the Western and Vedic or Hindu - also known as Joytish - systems of Astrology. Mark is an Acupuncturist, Herbalist, and Reiki Master in the Ichi Sekai Reiki System.
